Tis the season! Well, at least for this flower shop. Wedding season is in full swing and brides are planning in advanced; now more than ever.
So what are trends that we're starting to see?
1. Bling is Back: Brides are looking for that extra sparkle or fluff. Whether its in addition to the stems with a diamond brooch or gems on the roses, the extra glitz is a definite must!Some brides are even adding in peacock feathers, ostrich feather or small plumes for that extra detail.
2. Pink and Purples: Now we're not taking Barbie pink. Rich colors such as eggplant and peony pink are making their way back into the bridal party.
3. Nontraditional Designs: Although a cluster of garden roses is undoubtly beautiful, brides are questioning what else is really out there. Fiddle heads ferns, Hypericum Berries, and Billy Balls are just the beginning of little detail flowers that add that much more to any floral arrangement.
With whatever design you choose for you special day, it should be a reflection of your personality and the overall theme of your wedding. Ask your florist what flowers are available in your colorscheme. You'll be surprised to see more than just the everyday flowers!
